April 27-28, 2007

The Southwest Police Motorcycle Training and Competition is an opportunity for police motorcycle riders from the Southwest United States to promote quality motor officer training, and to share training ideas.  The event also promotes motor officer proficiency and riding skills.

The event will be held in the southeast parking lot of the Tucson Mall at Oracle and Wetmore. Friday the 27th is a practice day that will start around 9:00 in the morning. It will be a fun time to interact with the officers, and the vendors will be there as well. On Saturday the 28th the competition will kick off just after 7:00 in the morning and go through the early afternoon, with vendors and food services available. As usual, all proceeds from this event will go to benefit Arizona Special Olympics.

The training and competition will be limited to the first 100 applicants.  As soon as applications with payment are received, an information packet with rules and exercises will be sent.  The application fee is $50.00.  Checks should be made out to F.O.P. #1/SPMTC and mailed to:
